This page is for studios that use queued: what we keep about your studio, who can see it, and what we will never do with it. (Your guests have their own privacy page on your order form.)
Our promise, in plain words
- Your studio's data is yours. Your events, orders, client list, designs and branding belong to you.
- Other studios can't see it. Every studio has its own walled-off space. No other studio on queued can see your events, orders or clients. That includes C² Studio, the studio run by one of our founders.
- We never contact your customers. The only messages your guests get are the order emails and texts you set up. We don't market to them, and we don't add them to any list.
- We never sell your data, or your guests' data, to anyone.
- We never use your data to compete with you. Your prices, clients and event details are never used for C² Studio's business or anyone else's.
What we keep about your studio
- Your account: studio name, the name and email of the owner and any staff you invite, and your web address on queued.
- What you set up: branding, fonts, designs, events, items, and your notification wording.
- Your orders: what your guests order, plus the name, email and phone number they give your order form.
- If you use them: CRM clients and projects, lead-form submissions, documents you send for signature, and support tickets.
- Billing: your plan and whether your subscription is active. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Who can see it
- You and the staff you invite. Admins see everything; staff see what they need to run events.
- Not other studios. Your data is kept in its own space, and every request is checked against the studio it belongs to. A studio account, including C² Studio's, cannot open another studio.
- The queued team, only when needed. A small number of platform support accounts can open a studio to help. We only do that when you ask us for help, to fix a problem with your account, to keep the service secure, or when the law requires it. When we do, it's to help you, never to look around.
- Support tickets you send from Help are read by our team, and by our AI support assistant, which can only see the ticket itself, not the rest of your studio.
Your customers' information
When a guest orders from you, you're the one collecting their information, and we look after it on your behalf. We use it only to run your orders: showing it on your queue board and labels, and sending the confirmation and ready-for-pickup messages you've turned on. You decide what your order form asks for and which messages go out. If you text your guests, you're responsible for having their permission and for your own texting provider's rules.
Combined, anonymous numbers
We may look at combined numbers across all studios, like the total orders placed on queued, to understand how the product is used and make it better. These never name your studio or any guest, and they're never shared in a way that could identify you.
Where it's stored and how it's protected
- queued runs on Google Cloud. Your data is encrypted while it travels and while it's stored.
- Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase. We never see your password.
- Card payments are handled by Stripe.
- Email passwords and API keys you connect (like a texting account) are kept in a locked vault, never in your studio's regular data, and are never shown back to anyone.
Companies that help us run queued
We use a few service providers, only to run the service: Google Cloud and Firebase (hosting, database, sign-in), Stripe (payments), our email provider (order emails), the texting provider you connect, if any (Twilio or ClickSend), and BoldSign if you send documents for signature. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.
Taking your data with you, and deleting it
The retention rules below take effect November 1, 2026.
- Guest details on archived events: 30 days after you archive an event, we remove your guests' names, emails, phone numbers, signatures, answers to your custom questions, staff notes, and the text they had embroidered. What was ordered (items, fonts, colors, designs, times) stays, so your Insights and recaps keep working. Download the event's CSV before then if you need the contact details. Events you haven't archived are left as they are.
- Export anytime: download every order for an event as a spreadsheet from your admin, plus an Insights report.
- If you cancel a standard plan: we keep your studio for 30 days after your membership ends, then permanently delete it, including every order and your guests' contact details. We email you a week before so you can download your orders. We delete it on purpose: we don't want to hold your guests' information once you've left.
- If you pause month-to-month: your studio stays saved while paused, ready for when you come back.
- If you want it gone: email us and we'll permanently delete your studio and its orders within 30 days. (We may keep basic billing records where the law requires.)
- Free demos are sandboxes. They're deleted automatically a week after the 14-day trial ends, unless you upgrade.
Changes to this page
If we make a meaningful change to how we handle your studio's data, we'll tell you by email or in your admin before it takes effect.
